The Sonic drilling technique is renowned for its drilling speed and drilling capacity compared to rig weight, size and logistical costs. In soft to medium type geologies, you do not get any above ground cuttings and no drilling mud, which results in a much cleaner, safer and less cumbersome working area. Also in harder soil types the MidRotoSonic, equipped with the LS 50k Sonic head which features simultaneous vibration and rotation, is the perfect tool to optimize penetration speed.
